Start out capturing any ariel phenomenon and then go into orbs etc. using high speed flash, especially after a fresh rain, no dust. Then move into spectrum cameras infra and ultra. Then scan the skies for the spectrum of choice and watch what it reveals sitting there, right now, outside, above your head.
Point your camera and change the tape with timer in infrared looking at the darkest part of the sky and record. One night, you pick, then watch it, appreciate it, and see shit you never thought you would. Here at PDX is an Interstellar Port and the pathway is easily filmed from there to space, day or night.
