The observation IS, they are expected to be captured by the earths magnetic pull.
This IS believed to offset the continuity of the surface of the earth.
Then, a catastrophic collision will occur.
With, The Moon.
So, IF, The moon IS the ship reported by most that brought many species here.
They might get IT up and running before the event.
