Found on web- Ron Paul panders to Hispanics/Illegals in Nevada Wednesday (A sad day for us Ron Paul supporters)

Folks are beginning to see things about Ron Paul that weren't in the open last time he ran.

Ron Paul panders to Hispanics/Illegals in Nevada Wednesday

Ron Paul says 99% of illegals are good people just here for the American Dream. That is 100% FALSE and as a member of the U.S. Congress, he should know that. Our prisons and jails are full of hundreds of thousands of CRIMINAL illegal aliens. Illegal aliens commit crimes at a much higher rate than U.S. citizens. Open borders and defacto amnesty = organized crime and everyone (except Paul) seems to know that. Plus illegal immigration costs U.S. taxpayers about $113 billion per year ($22 billion in CA alone)!

These are similar to the comments in his last book about those of us who are trying to uphold our oaths to defend this country and secure our border to stop the human and drug smuggling invasion and cartel violence from Mexico.

Also these comments made Wed. to a Hispanic group in NV do not match his stated positions on his website. I think Ron Paul is confused on this national security issue. He told us on the same day at a different speech in Las Vegas that he wants to bring the troops home and put them on our border. He of course received a thunderous applause to that statement. But he told the Hispanics the opposite in this article below.

. . ..Paul went into much greater detail on immigration policy than he has at most of his campaign stops. He typically steers clear of discussing rights for specific groups of people, insisting that his libertarian-leaning views apply to everyone as individuals.

But in Nevada, which is 26 percent Hispanic, Paul outlined an immigration policy far outside the Republican mainstream.

Paul blasted politicians who blame immigrants for causing the country's economic problems. He compared the situation to Nazi Germany's targeting of Jews in the 1930s.

"When things go badly, individuals look for scapegoats," Paul said. "Hispanics, the immigrants who have come in, are being used as scapegoats." . . .. . .
"The one thing I have resisted and condemned: I do not believe that barbed-wire fences and guns on our border will solve any of our problems," he said. . .. .

(note, I agree with Ron)
