It will take awhile for them to get ALL the guns from everyone. They will start in highly populated areas and work their way out to the hills. They just don't have enough people to enforce it on everyone at one time. Thats what is keeping them atleast a little hesitant to do it in my opinion. We need to think smarter about how we would react to such a situation unfolding in your area. Who would they go after first, where to go to hide, and so on. Roads will be blocked of course and drones flying looking for people. Just having a gun won't be enough. You will have to think like a Rambo, Macgyver,Matlock,Predator genius to think a step ahead.
