FOW- $16,000,000,000,000 and counting! (The Fiscal Abyss)

Another milestone was reached yesterday (9/4/2012) around 2pm or so. The Federal Government is now $16,000,000,000,000 in debt!

Here are some intersting numbers:

The debt is growing at $1,000,000,000 per minute!
The debt is growing at $60,000,000,000 per hour!

At this rate, the National Debt will top $24,000,000,000,000 by 2016!

Ironically, all this is happening right in the middle of the Democratic National Convention. This issue was only mentioned once with very little importance.

If this situation occured under a Republican Administration the Democrats, the left-wing media and every liberal group would be all over it like flies in a kitty box! Obama once touted Bush in 2007 about the $10,000,000,000,000 as "unAmercian" and criticized his "wild" spending. Now with a $16,000,000,000,000 debt under Democratic leadership all of this is shoved under the carpet.

Obama and the Democratic leaders own this situation but refuse to take responsibility.
