and I was waiting for the light. ( I don't j-walk ) and a woman in a car had the right of way when this skinny jeaned
scruffy cyclist blew through the light and got clipped. I was surprised he didn't get killed the way he was riding.
She stopped and the cyclist went nuts... yelling at her, a couple of scruffy cyclists were agitated at her too..
She was scared and had two little kids in the back in car seats and he started to get physical...
I was amazed so I went up to the situation and told the woman who was being traumatized to stay in the car and
then the neo biker approached me...
As I looked down at him ....I said "I saw everything"...You ran the Light and you need to say here because You are responsible for any damages and need to talk to the police.. I was pissed when I said this and he and his supporters demeanor changed.
I stood in front of his bike because he appeared he wanted to leave and I said sorry, if you run it's a hit and run. He actually tried to act if he was going to get physical. I looked down at him & said come at me and you will be sorry..
A cop showed up and he became a sniveling baby..lol
Then a week later a insurance company called me about the incident and I think it was her insurance trying to see if she had any fault probably because the cyclist had noooo way of being responsible..lol It was a weird call.
Later the woman's husband called me because I gave my contact info and was so appreciative of someone caring and getting involved..It really shook up his wife and kids..
My point is people need to be responsible and do what's right. There are so many responsible cycles and drivers.
But there are cyclist's, drivers and pedestrians' who set a bad example for the rest.
